Meet Jaydemia!!

Hi, It's Rozelyn of Jaydemia. My love for jewelry has inspired me to start a company that provides limited edition, high quality handmade jewelries.

In my search for unique materials, I fell in love with nature and recycling. Thus, Eco-Style Collection was born. Eco-Style jewelries highlight the use of small wood and shells that are abundant and are usually thrown away in the Philippines.

By working closely with a friend who started a Livelihood program for the wives and widowers of fishermen in a small island town in the Philippines, I was able to have uniquely handcrafted environment-friendly beads for my creations. At the same time, had the opportunity to help those really talented yet impoverish women. Each eco-bead used in this collection are pure labor of love and is fairly traded.

As what I always say, "With each Eco-Style jewelry, you'll not only LOOK good, you'll definitely FEEL good as well."

Meet the Crazy Elephant on Etsy!

I'd like to introduce one of our team members, The Crazy Elephant!

"Adam and I went to school for media arts and animation. After we got married we started Morgan Media our small animation company online. We have done advertisements for .tv and Acer laptops. When we had our son, Jayne, our animation time went down to 0 and we started creating thing just for him. it started with the burp cloths for me. I designed them based on one I got a a gift, but adjusted it to work better for me. Many people asked where I got them and I told them that I made them. Then I started to get orders from people for them. Adam started by making Jayne the cutest little knit bear hat. That was just as popular. Then, in August, a friend of ours recommended that we sell our artwork on etsy. I thought of the success I had with the burp cloths when Jayne was a baby and decided to give it a shot. We opened The Crazy Elephant at the end of August 2009. The shop is named after Jayne, who loves elephants and spends many hours stomping..."

Cafemom Love

I just wanted to show you a few of the items I'm currently swooning over from the talented Moms in the Cafemom Group! Ready to drool??
I love (and I mean LLLOOOOVEEE) this adorable romper from Ryleigh's Room! It ALMOST makes me wish I had a little girl...seriously. Maybe I'll just buy one and dress my son it in :)

These earrings from Hecates Jewelry are so simple, yet so elegant...and I love them! My birthday is coming up soon, want to buy them for me??

Again, if I had a little girl in my life to dress, these two bows would be perfect! I love the colors in the Cupcakes and Skulls Bows flip flop bow, and of course the amazing attention to detail in Two Kazoos Matryoshka doll clippie!

I could seriously eat pancakes everyday. I love them! Lip Smackin Creations came up with this five pack of pancake mixes in flavors like Peanut Butter, Strawberry Bliss and Chocolate Luv! How could you NOT like chocolate pancakes!

I know what you are going to say....You are tired of snow! But I love snowflakes. Seriously. I guess it comes from living in a Tropical Climate, and now an Eastern Coastal City....but I'm obsessed with snowflakes. Especially when they are hand crafted this beautifully! ShaunnaMichelle linked all those itty bitty tiny rings together to create this wonderful pendant!

Hope you like my favorites...Click away! And don't forget to search Etsy to find other talented Moms in the Cafemom Group!

Oh and in my person shop (ThreadsofGray) I'm having a sale to celebrate my new move....just enter the code "moving" to receive 20% off your purchase!

Happy Shopping! :)

Seeing Green!

I don't know about you, but I just love St. Patrick's Day! I live in Savannah, Georgia--home to the 2nd Largest St. Pats Parade in the US! Our whole town turns green for a week and its a party that only rivals Mardi Gras!

I'm ready, I've got my green gear, our Corned Beef (even though I don't eat meat myself) and Cabbage....and I thought I'd show you a few things that our team members are doing for the Green Holiday as well!!

Winner of "The Best Thing I Made This Year"

is me! :)

I feel so silly blogging about myself...but this is my entry to the contest, and my reason WHY I thought it was the best thing I made.

This Gray Ribbon Brain Cancer Awareness Lap Quilt is my proudest shop-related sewing item this year! I was very nervous about making a quilt to sell, as I had only done ones for me and my family in the past....and this one sold almost as soon as it was listed....it went to a woman to give to her Mother in Law, who had just recently lost her brother to Brain Cancer, and the customer told me it would "warm those who are remembering a loved one".....It brought tears to my eyes....and the best part was that the fabrics themselves are from a Charity line of fabrics, so the money I spent to purchase them went to Cancer Research, then the profit I made off of it was donated to the American Brain Tumor Association...double charity donations! I can't help but smile when I see this quilt! And I completely plan to make more :)

My Shop is on vacation mode still, but once its back up and running you can click HERE to find me!
